Because of the rising amount of heavy industry coming into the country to setup their plants, the current raw sewage treatment facility is no longer able to handle this volume of sewage that is generated from these new plants.

As such, the government had been searching for a suitable place to construct a new treatment facility and finally they found a suitable piece of and near the area designated for these heavy industries to setup their plants. After months of construction and routing of pipelines, the new treatment plant is finally ready for operations.

A key milestone adopted by the country to ensure that attracting foreign investors will not result in additional environmental impact but at the same time, improve GDP for the country and creating jobs for its citizens.
