When the gunfire sounded, Joey ran as fast as she could. This is the 400m sprint and it is her pet event. And because this run is on the greatest stage of them all, she wants to win and be crowned Olympic champion. However, as the race crossed into the final leg at the last 100m, Joey lost her lead and the girl from her adjacent lane suddenly overtook her and came into pole position. She tried all she could, but somehow she wasn't able to close the gap between her and that runner.

Finally as they crossed the finishing line, both girls beat the world record but because her competitor was faster than her by a quarter of a second, she ended up with just a silver medal with the gold and the records being given to the other girl. Joey was devastated because she did not get the title that she always wanted.

However, after a few days. Joey received a call from the Olympic committee tell her that other runner had become from official winner to official loser because in a urine test that was conducted, they have found out that the other competitor is using steroids. She is disqualified and now Joey is awarded the title and medal that she had been working hard for all these years.
