More often than not, every business especially those that need a little more capital will startup as a partnership. Resources are pooled, summing every effort to come up with the startup capital to start a business. Everything seem to be ok at the start, everyone with the excitement, contribute and wanting to see the business take flight.

But as time passes by, things start to change, some people in view of their own commitments slowly commit less, some even become sleeping members waiting to receive dividends from the revenue. And this leaves the main partner contributing questioning themselves is this a partnership since probably he is the only one working.

It is always very hard to draw the line on who contributes what and it is easy to compare that one somehow is doing more than the other. So always at the start of the partnership, division of labour needs to be done properly and after that is done, should any party within the partnership feels overwhelmed or feel that another party is not contributing, consistent communication is needed to ensure every doubt can be cleared before things go south and break the partnership.
