All, doing a 5 minute freewrite. Thank you for reading.

She know's her project dateline is drawing close but she haven't got a plan to complete it ever since her last attempt failed.
A week ago, she was very confident that her evaluation was going to succeed till a reliability test on the product flagged out a reliability marker having an issue. What could have been a promotion opportunity for her should she complete her evaluation timely now becomes a disaster waiting to explode.
She is at a loss and on the verge of breaking down. There seem to be no one that can help her, especially with the timeline being so short. However, little did she know, her supervisor had already anticipated this and kicked off a back up plan 3 weeks ago which had already gone through reliability testing and showing ok.
Her supervisor shared to her, he did not reveal this backup plan is to let her learn about the importance of having a backup and not put all the eggs in one basket.
A strong lesson for her which I think will serve her well.
