Mary upon reaching home after making a purchase in the nearby electronics shop, plugged in her new bought iron and wanted to start ironing her top that she would be wearing the next day.

However, after trying for a good 10 minutes, the iron just didn't heat up and she couldn't press her top. She then stormed back to the shop with the iron that didn't work and ask for a replacement.

The shopkeeper asked, "Have you got the receipt with you?"

Mary tried to search and she realize she left it at home. But thankfully, she was able to produce a credit card payment slip which she used to pay for the iron found within her wallet. The shopkeeper accepted it and immediately took over the iron that was not working and handed her a replacement set. She requested to have it tested in the shop and the shopkeeper agreed. After verifying that the iron is working, she went home happily and started ironing what she needed to, to get ready for the next day.
