It is important not to bring in any bias during assessing others but sometimes in the workplace, this is a problem.

While it might not be something spoken, there is also bias that happen in the workplace and often it might involve ethnic differences. We do see some organization as they progress, you might see a particular ethic group prospering even though they started with a well mixed team. This essentially creates a problem for others in the organization that do not belong to the same ethnic group because they will realize that they are not the favoured ones and often will be getting more of the dirty work than actually something to help them grow their career.

I do hope things leaders genuinely work with every employee under their team to the best of their strengths than to use biasness to get things moving. It is ugly and can tear the whole team apart and other teething problems will start to surface such as attrition etc.
