5 Minute Freewrite - Does Not Correspond
All, doing a 5 minute freewrite. Thank you for reading.
Sometimes when I start looking at the work I am doing, somehow the salary given to me does not correspond to the amount and intensity of the work I do. Many a times, I felt being exploited and overworked for that miserable amount of salary that is given. Not sure why this feeling is getting stronger with every day past.
While it has been said that the emergence of AI would reduce the workload of workers, but somehow workload and expectation grew exponentially even before we can fully embrace AI in the workplace to simplify things. The excuse is always that we are not using it enough and that is why our work efficiency had dropped.
However, when I relook at it, I wonder if it is a case of slave driving instead of me not working hard enough. Our annual targets increased with each year and the demand is getting ridiculous.
Is this company worth fighting for and giving my career life to?
