“CALCULATED RISKS”

I like calculated risks, I think that's something I share with my colleagues around the table. I'm sure that while they're waiting for their turn to take the initiative, some of them have already made up the numbers, reducing to statistics all that picturesque group of figures on paper that represent a group of enemies. During my many games, I have played various roles and I could tell you the lives of these monsters almost from memory and with absolute certainty. Let's face it, an essential part of the game is knowing the system and exploiting it to some extent, even if it does spoil the fun of another Saturday night. But don't worry, that won't happen, at least not this time, because the guy who seems to have forgotten basic arithmetic and is shaking the dice while his half-orc barbarian moves a few squares to wander into danger is me, betting everything on a dice roll.

Me gustan los riesgos calculados, creo que es algo que comparto con mis compañeros de mesa. Estoy seguro de que mientras esperan su turno, algunos de ellos ya han hecho números, reduciendo a estadísticas todo ese pintoresco grupo de figuras sobre el papel que representan a un grupo de enemigos. Durante mis muchas partidas, he interpretado varios papeles y podría decirte la vida de estos monstruos casi de memoria y con absoluta certeza. Admitámoslo, una parte esencial del juego es conocer el sistema y explotarlo hasta cierto punto, aunque estropee la diversión de otro sábado por la noche. Pero tranquilos, eso no va a pasar, al menos no esta vez, porque el tipo que parece haber olvidado la aritmética básica y está agitando los dados mientras su bárbaro medio orco se mueve unas casillas para correr peligro soy yo, apostándolo todo a una tirada de dados.
