Pya, The barber
Pya was of age, and his sight was poor but his love for his profession was huge. Pya is a barber, one who was skilled at different haircuts. He was known as the doctor barber because of his dressing style which was a lab coat and a torch that looked like a telescope tied around his head. People believed the torch helped his poor sight while others believed it was a fashion style to compliment his dressing which was a lab coat.
Pya, despite his skills, had no saloon, he set up a small space around his veranda where he kept a chair and a few barbing materials to help him start small to raise funds enough to rent a shop.
One fateful day, while Pya was barbing a customer passionately, Mr Gregory, a wealthy man stopped by, fascinated by how he barbs. He looked around the vicinity which was less standard and waited for him to be done.
"I'd like you to give me a good haircut," Mr. Gregory told Pya when he was free.
"Sure, sit down," he offered.
After the cut, he was pleased with the haircut and asked Pya why he chose to barb in such a location. Pya told him of his current plan of raising funds to set up a better place. A few minutes into the talk, Mr. Gregory realized Pya was a doctor but didn't have the opportunity to practice his profession and when he found his new passion in barbing, he decided to incorporate his profession. Mr. Gregory laughed, it was funny but he considered it to be nice.
Mr. Gregory offered to help Pya get a better place with better materials. "I love the fact that you can do your job very well and don't mind putting in the effort. I'll rent you a shop and also buy for you the materials you'll be needing" he told Pya who stood perplexed. Pya's face lightened up and couldn't thank Mr. Gregory enough.
"Do not thank me, it's your passion that paved the way for you" Gregory told him before bidding him goodbye. Pya couldn't believe how suddenly his story was about to change.
I know several professionals who have found their passion in other activities, and they are doing well. I have always told them, ‘blessed are those whose profession matches their vocation’.

Pya's passion shined through. That is so true that others can see and feel another person's passion for any profession or hobby one undertakes. All a person needs sometimes is a stroke of luck to make their dream come true. Your story reminds me that if one puts in the hard work, all else may align and people and circumstances are placed in one's path to make the passion come true.
