April fools day
April 1st is a day widely recognized as April fool's day, a day intended to play a prank on anyone, they either get pranked or stay smart, either way, you catch fun in the process. The image below with the date 1st April draws one's attention to this very day and probably a story of one's experience.
Story
"All your crops have been eaten by a herd of cattles" A message that sent Adam to the ground. Thank God his pulse was still beating, he must have probably fainted hearing the sudden news. It was April 1st when Mr. Alfred decided to play a prank on Adams knowing how well he had boasted about his yield for that year.
A few minutes later Adam woke up, his shirt soaked from the bucket of water that was poured on him. He stayed on the floor panting a bit heavily. "Let me go!, let me go!" He kept saying to the men who held him down. For a moment Mr. Alfred wondered how to tell Adam it was all a prank. After a few minutes, he cleared his throat, "I had mistaken your farm for that of Joshua, it wasn't yours" he finally said.
Adam sighed, letting down a heavy breath. It was after a few weeks later that Mr. Alfred told him he had played a plank on it but it turned out it went bad for him and decided to have changed the story. "Don't ever play such a prank on me" he told Mr. Alfred. They laughed when Mr. Alfred told him April 1st was actually a day widely known for such a prank. For this reason, Adam marked the day , ensuring he never falls into such a prank again.
Ah, this is a costly prank oo. Imagine. What if Adam had died?Abeg oo.
