Suffering and Smiling
Lizzy was suffering and smiling while doing the job her uncle gave her. Little did she realise the kind of strength and effort she had invested in the job.

As if she were used to suffering, with many activities and a little pay. Lizzy continued to enjoy the job, but was also suffering from it. No wonder she hardly had time for anything else. She resumes by 7 am and closes by 7 pm with no break time.
But she has chosen to continue on the job since there is no help in sight. Leaving the job will also mean another level of suffering. So, Lizzy continued to smile and suffer, only excited on payday. She would be found singing Joy is coming, only for her to wriggle back into her corner, bearing the burden of the entire family with little pay.
How long will you continue in this manner? I enquired, How long will you continue to suffer and smile? How long will you continue to dwell in the tents of suffering? As I was asking and pestering Lizzy, bombarding her with what if this and what if that?
Lizzy summoned the courage, came close and whispered into my ear, “Grace, until the Lord remembers me”
