Simba walked home with Andy when it began to snow. Being Simba's first time of experiencing a snowfall he wagged his tail with so much delight.
Andy who knew the effect of the snow encouraged Simba to hurry up so that they could get home on time. "Come on Simba.. Let's go home quickly, " Andy commanded but Simba stood still looking at him with no Intention of going home. Simba's gaze was fixed on Andy like "what do you mean let's go home?"
Andy waited for a while but Simba refused to walk alongside Andy home. Andy got frustrated at a point and yelled at Simba but that made matter worse. Simba looked away while standing still.
This got Andy agitated but having self control over his temper, he slightly bent down to carry Simba. Immediately, Simba Whimpered indicating he wanted to have a feel of the snow.
The more it snowed the more it got dangerous for Andy and Simba out there. Andy who couldn't wait any longer walked slowly hoping that Simba will catch up with him but after walking a few miles away he noticed Simba was now nowhere to be found.
"Gosh!! Why does Simba behaves this way?" He cried in anger and decided to go back to the spot to look for Simba.
As soon as he got back, he noticed how Simba stood beside a certain white house filled snow. Simba had carried some snow on his face probably by sniffing the ground and the look on his face meant "I thought you wouldn't come back to look for me."
Andy now decided to use another approach by speaking gently to him and stroking his pretty fur.
Immediately, Simba fell for it and obeyed, he laid on Andy's feet indicating his willingness to surrender but by then his feet were already cold and his fur stood as a result of the cold.
Andy carried Simba like a baby praying that a kind hearted person will either give them a lift home or offer them a seat in a warm room.
Amdy realized that Dogs love it when you treat them with so much care and speak to them with tenderness. "I should have just done this earlier, "He whispered.
Twenty minutes later, he got home, turned on the heater and ensured that he and Simba were warm enough.
Now, he learned to speak kindly not just to humans but also to animals. They are just like babies who throw tantrums when they aren't in agreement with a certain decision.
"You teach me everyday to be a better person Simba, to be a little more patient, kinder and empathetic. I'm blessed to have you in my life Simba. "
Simba who was now warm enough got off the couch and wagged his tail. He showed he loved his master as much as his master loved him and made a stretch on his master's feet, maybe as a symbol of respect and regret.. To be more obedient and cooperative when next an instruction was given to him because he almost got frozen on the street of Sefani.
