It's been a fortnight now, Jane have not seen her missing three year old daughter Clarene. Clarene was said to have left school that fateful day with her peers and all were heading home.
But as they were standing at the entrance gate of their school waiting for vehicles to subside before they can cross to the other side of the road, a black SUV pulled over and three hefty men came down and grabbed little Clarence with them and entered the waiting SUV and ran away.
Many had attributed the broad daylight kidnap to be politically motivated as elections were drawing closer. Clarene father Marcus is a notable politician who was gunning for the position of the Mayor. Rival candidates see him as a formidable force and this kidnap may be a subtle way to distract him.
The school wasted no time to dial for emergency and the Metro police swung into action. Few hours later the 'unskilled kidnappers' were intercepted and the information relayed in the state radio.
Fortunately for Jane a neighbour got the news and rushed down to her house to inform her about the latest development. Jane was grateful and anticipatory at the same time. "What's the frequency please?", Jane's voice faintly but firmly said. "I heard the news from Metro Radio", opined the neighbour.
In few seconds Jane tuned her transistor Radio to Metro FM Radio and a news flash was announced. Clarene has been found and her parents asked to report immediately at the Metro Police Station to take her home.
