Five Minute Freewrite: Neglect
Jane came back tired. She went to the bathroom, turned on the shower 🚿 and there was no water gushing out. It downed on her that there was no water. Nobody remembered to pump water overnight and now the unthinkable has happened.
With that state of mind, she started pumping the water. It will take more than an hour to fill up the tank. She went to the sofa in the parlor and sat down, patiently waiting for the water to get filled up.
After about thirty minutes Jane dozed off. S she was sleeping the tank filled up and was splashing water everywhere. Her neighbour went and turned off the water. At first he thought that Jane purposely neglected to monitor the water but when he called her out in a low voice and nobody answered. That was when he knew that Jane was fast asleep.
