Five Minute Freewrite: Greet The VIP
Every 27th of May is usually celebrated as the world's children's day. It is a day usually set aside to celebrate children world over. In the municipal council where Katie resides children always gather at the city sports centre where they take part in match past and other track and field events. Katie does not attend such events.
However, this year she decides to attend. She went with her friends Khloe and Zena. When the trio got to the sports centre they got seated at a vintage position. Soon it was the time to take the national anthem. Everyone rose up and sang it. Thereafter try al sat down and await the arrival of the Mayor of the municipal council.
When the Mayor made his way into the sorts centre everyone had to rise up again to greet the VIP. The middle-aged man came with a lot of people. Those look like his political associates and personal assistants. They took the VIP section of the sports centre. Soon the activities kicked off.
At the end of the day, the VIP - the Mayor handed out the golden trophy to the team that won both the relay and football game. Katie went home feeling that her day has been well spent nonetheless.
