Five Minute Freewrite: Cup

Jack lost his father when he was five. Her mother could not train all his siblings who were five in number. Jack being the most elderly was taken to the city to live with his maternal uncle Brad. His other siblings were also scattered among other relations leaving only one - Emily, with the mother.

When Jack got to the city his uncle received him well. He was enrolled in a nearby school for his early education. Every morning his uncle will make him a cup of tea with some slices of bread. Jack loves taking this tea for breakfast.

Each time he hears the clanging sound of cups in the morning he knows his cup of tea will soon be ready. He knows his cup of tea which is very distinct from others

But one fateful morning Jack made a mistake and the cup of tea fell off from his hand and broke to peices. Jack seeing the broken cup cried like a child and refused to be consoled. Before this mishap took place Jack's uncle has gone to work.

When his uncle came back from work Jack summoned courage and told him what happened with his cup of tea. His uncle promised yo get a new one for him.

The next morning Jack took his tea with another cup. To him the tea tastes differently with this improvised cup.

The next morning a new cup was bought for Jack by his uncle. But when Jack saw it he knew that it does not look like the former one. In the morning he will get to find out if the tea 🍵 in it tastes like the further cup.
