When I first started watching animes, as most people, I started with Naruto because I grew up watching it. Because of that, I loved action anime. After watching Naruto a few times, I decided to graduate and move on to the next anime. Next, I tried UQ holder. The anime wasn't all that great, but during that time, it was fantastic. I watched it on youtube during that time which was I think 2021. After getting a few recommendations from a fellow otaku(my bro) I decided to watch some other animes. After I finished secondary school, i stumbled upon one anime and damn, it changed me completely.
A few months after my anime debut, I watched Horimiya. A high school romance anime, and it wasn't one of those love polygon or waiting two seasons before confessing type. It was straight forward and..... romantic. A brief summary of the anime, The male MC was a gloomy guy at school and the female MC was a popular pretty girl. Plot twist, he wasn't gloomy at all in fact, he was a hot guy. He helped her brother once while he was dressed hotly and then they got to know each other. Well....... after watching episodes 1 to 4, I just took a break and started remembering my school times. My school times weren't bad, but yeah, nothing good happened in the romance sense. I had female friends, but we were just friends and nothing more.
Once I finished the anime, I did not remain the same. Even though it was fiction, I was still hoping that something similar could have happened to me, but I was already done with high school and I can not go back to the past. After disrupting my brain for a while, I fell in love with the anime, I would always look for romance in any anime that I want to watch. I usually feel like I'm the MC in animes anytime I start watching which also part of the reasons I like it. I've dropped different animes because of failed romance or something of sort. In my search for romance, I found My little monster, toxic but interesting, Kaguya sama-love is war, interesting too, but took them 3 seasons to confess which is still annoying.
I would really appreciate it if I could get some interesting romance anime recommendations, a little bit of action might not be bad too.

I first saw the anime from here and I really liked it. Good review!!
It was a great anime to be honest
Yeah
Horimiya [1] is nice and other good romantic anime include Kimi ni Todoke: From Me to You [2], Blue Spring Ride [3], The Garden of Words, Toradora, Violet Evergarden, Bakuman, and possibly even Sword Art Online [4] (which have romantic component), as well as Sakamichi no Apollon [5], Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun [6], and Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! [7].
IMHO Kaguya-sama: Love is War does not qualify as romantic anime: it is all about manipulation and power-play, without even playful flirtation. Romantic aspect of that show is weak and it feels like it was only introduced near end of the show.
Please let me know which of those shows did you like.
P.S. Forgot to mention 5 Centimeters Per Second [8].

Thank you very much for the recommendations.
I just finished sword art online and it was a blast, I haven't heard much about sakamichi no apollon so maybe I'll try that next
