My best memories. Greetings, beautiful ladies and gentlemen, thank you for stopping by my blog. The theme for this week is your childhood memories during the festive period. Everyone has a memory he or she also remembers, whether good or bad. I too have some sweet memories of my childhood, especially the memories of my childhood Christmas 🎄

What's your most recent memory of your childhood celebration during the festive season? Clothes and food: One thing my mom makes sure we have during the festive period is good food, and looking good too. Back then, my mom bought us the best clothes and also made sure the food she cooked during that period was good because she didn't want us to look outside. I went to the market to get something for the house, and I saw some new designs of sweets, I think that sweetie was designed specially because of the festive period. and got some for my kids. On getting home, I showed them what I got for them, and the joy on their faces reminded me of my childhood too, whenever Mom got something new for me/us as a child.

Compared to now, do you prefer your childhood way of celebrating or now? If yes or no, why? Well, I prefer my childhood celebration; back then it was safer than now in so many ways.

What's one or more thing that made this festive season stand out for you as a child? Family coming together—as a child, I always looked out for the festive season, especially the Christmas 🎄 season, because of family. Most of the festive period is when you get to see/meet some family members who have been in the diaspora, the good and the bad ones who we missed.

If you have the opportunity to relive one moment of your childhood during the festive season, what will it be? Christmas 🎄 with my complete family—I mean Mom, Dad, and all my siblings. I've spent so many Christmases with my parents, and sometimes, I ended up crying on a Christmas day because I missed my mom especially, so if today I'm opportune to relive it, it will be a Christmas with my golden woman mom.
