YOU ARE ENOUGH FOR YOURSELF
At times things happen in our lives , these things makes us discover certain things about us that we did not discover in time past or discover some hidden talents that we should nuture. Again , still some happenings might make us understand that we have actually outgrown some things in life. Last year was full of ups and downs, yet we learnt a whole lot, we discover things that made us a better person and also things that we should pause.
Last year made me understand that procrastination is really bad and that waiting for people's validation before making a move might cost you a lot. There is a project that I was handling , since I didn't always see my boss directly because she was not always on sit anytime I am ready to see her, I had to be passing information through her secretary to her, every signature I needed for some documents, I had to be sending it to her through her secretary. And at some points , the secretary might purposely delay passing the documents to her for signature, telling me that some of those papers are not up to standard, that I should do one thing one thing, before forwarding the documents to her. At times I will quietly follow the secretary's instructions and did what she said, but this her instructions came with much spending and time wasting.
On a certain day, I submitted some documents to be checked and signed by my boss , the secretary collected for validation , after few days she called again that the documents has been misplaced that I should make new copies. I bluntly told her I can't spend a dime again on that paper, that I am proceeding with what I was supposed to do . I took the bold step, proceeded without her validation and behold , what I went for was perfect and okay with a good feedback without the normal delays from the secretary.
What am I trying to say here? you are enough for yourself, do what you should do, put more effort, believe in God and carry out the task , when God is with you that's enough. It doesn't mean you should not be listening to others but , still know when to have your final say about some things in life. That's a right part to follow for this year.
