Greetings to all chess fans and the Sports community! I missed @sam.chess weekly tournament that we played every Saturday. I joined a lichess SuperBlitz Swiss tournament instead. The time control was three minutes per side. I still had a lot of embarrassing blunders but there were good moments that had me taking third place.

Games
Game 1
I was on the receiving end of a beautiful rook sacrifice in this game.

After Rxf6 gxf6 Nf5 I was already losing and resigned a few moves later.

Game 2
I got greedy in this game and stole a "free" pawn on c7.

Afterwhich Qxf2 followed by Qf1 leads to mate. I resigned the game immediately.

I found a mate in two in this game.

My opponent exposed his King after castling Queenside. After Rc1+ Kd7 Bb5 was checkmate.

The win that I considered my best in the tournament. It's not because of the quality of the game but due to the difference in rating. My opponent was 200+ higher rated than me. He must have underestimated me because he played some positional mistakes and soon blundered.
After the moves 1. d4 f5 2. Bf4 g6 3. e3 Bg7 4. Nf3 b6 5. c3 Bb7 6. Nbd2 c5 7. Be2 d5

Black has a weak square on e6. I can't find a way to immediately exploit it so I focused on preventing a push to e5 for a while. 8. O-O Nd7 9. Qa4 h6

Qa4 pins the Knight and indirectly controls the e5 square. 10. Ne5 g5

I was already winning but Black's last move gave the game away. 11. Bh5+ Kf8 12. Nxd7+ { Black resigns. } 1-0

Black has to give up his Queen to prevent mate so he resigned.
