What a gorgeous day.
Time to head down into town to the gym for an after work workout!
It's actually the first time since I had those fluffing triple vaccinations that gave me a bit of what for!
So I cancelled going last night being that I spent the morning in Edinburgh and didn't want to overdo things!
I even made it along the top road without seeing a train.
Of course, as it turned out gorgeous again, I had to stop click and snap..
Cyclists are getting a bad rap again, and unfortunately if this eejit is anything to go by then they deserve it!
I was getting reading to turn the corner and something made me turn round, only to see this bearded glass wearing helmet eejit with a little kid sitting on his handlebars come haring straight at me!
I actually had to jump into the road to avoid him and almost into the path of that truck!
Fluffing arsehole of the highest order.
Last week we had a fluffing door on the pavement...
This week well ...
Woodchips and pine trees or something!
Meanwhile I was getting the eye!
Almost into town now.
The 80th anniversary of VE day is tomorrow 8th May
Our city hall still displaying the Ukraine flag in solidarity which is great.
All these online cyber attacks we are having, you know we are at war with Russia already.
Do you notice anything else unusual on the top of the building?
They were sent away to Derby or somewhere down south a long time ago, so I don't know what the story is there!
We still do have the odd red telephone kiosk dotted around.
I had texted Mrs T asking where she was. All I knew was that she was on an earlier bus.
No answer from her though...
Talk about good timing...
She replied ... I am pulling into the bus station now...
Well no shit shit Sherlock!
The bus station has been doing its bit to keep things neat and tidy and even has some nice border areas.
The charity shops are having their window displays ready for tomorrow...
Nearly there, I always think of this is the good to go alley...
It takes us to the espalnade, the all you can eat buffet and of course the leisure centre.
Exercise machines over and done with, it was time to sit and grab a bite to eat.
After having a wee chat with a volunteer from Greener Kirkcaldy, so many of the wonderful displays we have are down to those guys.
You can't beat sitting outside after a workout breathing in the sea air. Pure serenity!
I made us a tuna mayo and sweetcorn sandwich and a banana. It is simple and a light dinner. Just the job after a workout.
It takes about 25 minutes to walk there and the same going back.
Going back is harder as it is uphill and of course you have just exercised!
But look at that moon!
Gorgeous and I would have not seen had I been stuck in sat on my arse!
Well there we go, and now I am writing this post as I sip my coffee!
I hope you enjoyed our little adventure!
This post is for #wednesdaywalk which was inspired by @tattoodjay
That's a fine view for a workout!!
It really is!
What a gorgeous tour Indeed !!!! Thanks for sharing 🙏🏻
Fastest walk and then made it onto a post I have ever done I think!
Yes, you have done 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Looks like a great afternoon. A good workout, being eyed down by a cat, and tuna for dinner. How can you beat that? I loved the telephone kiosk there, phone booths here are a thing of the past and no more to be found... Such cool pictures, makes me wish I could visit, I love all the historic buildings!
The good thing about that telephone box is that it still works. Yes it was a week since I had been to the leisure centre so it was in danger of being momentum lost.
Hopefully back on track and will get there tomorrow for a swim too. Yeah you would love all the history here that people take for granted!
you do get some tinterestign find sonthe pavement
Its bene years since I made it to a gym so well done
Thanks for joining the Wednesday walk
Have a great day
Thanks Jay, we are lucky the leisure centre has a cool gym and a couple of pools, so it is a shame not to use it , especially as everyone is so friendly and there really is no age limit.
thats great the people are friendly ;)
I love reading your posts, Ed, because as I read, I'm imagining every single thing, as if I'm walking with you too!!!! In a parallel universe, there are clocks without hands, old telephone booths, homicidal bicycles, tuna sandwiches with corn kernels built in, and the cat from the previous walk, still waiting to see you. I send you a big moon hug.
Hehe I love when you comment like this Nancy. It is fun taking people along with me!
I am not sure if the cat was the same as last week's walk, we do have a few of them around here.
Funnily enough I was in a pub this afternoon, and the cat there jumped into my lap to be patted. A big sun hug as we had sun today Nancy :)
Glad you're well and back at the gym Ed!
I saw the same moon from the other side of the world, gorgeous;) We need to stop sometimes and take a real look at the world around us.
Have a great day <3
That moon is gorgeous Lizzie, and the gym well that was a week since the last visit, and it was in danger of being momentum lost.
Nice job hitting the gym! I know how much those vaccines can take out of you. I wouldn't mind a view like that when I am on my treadmill in the morning. Instead I am just looking at a blank wall!
Yes the view really is something and sure beats that blank wall. Thanks and that was a week away from exercise,so had to say enough is enough and get back or could easily have lost momentum. Good for you doing your treadmill. I have had a few exercise machine type things at home over the years and never could get any consistency doing them.
I'm pretty consistent with our stuff. I do the treadmill one or two times a week and then the rest of the week I use our Total Gym.

Oh you went to gym for some workout😬. Totally recover from that vaccine😌. I want to know the story behind that clock that is armless😛
Almost recovered from the vaccine, my right arm is still a bit tender but I can't be acting like a child!
Oh the town hall and clock with no hands, I shall find out the latest and let you know!
Excellent tour... Very good photos ☺️👍🏼
Thank you :)
