Bee Happy 🐝
Hello Hello Hivers, Hivians and any other wonderful being who has stumbled onto this!
I am back with another wee stroll in the summer sunshine here in the Kingdom of Fife in Scotland, come let's walk the now.
This was this morning and it has taken me all day and night to actually sit down and write hehe!
I had a wee parcel to post, so come let's hit the pavement!!
The sun had come out to play amd the time was 7am.
Quiet Road
7 am is just when the traffic starts to get heavier, but I timed it right and there were not too many cars about.
My favourite flower at this time of the year is lavender.
The bees fluffing love them
And I have no qualms stopping standing and clicking away for a few minutes.
Take your time and they will be the most sweet wee models you can find!

There is something majestic about the mighty bumblebee! Truly they are gorgeous.
But I had a parcel to post, well a wee packet...
And I had to get there before the postie came and collected it...
As it was an ebay order, I was not going to miss that collection time!
What colour are your mail boxes or don't you have them?
Job done, time to head home, grab a cuppa and start work.
The next garden to the one I showed you had some more bees...

This one is a fluffy, ginger-brown common carder bee
What the fluff was that shape ... see it? Like a hand with fingers pointing open!
Anyway that was my cue for coffee!

Enjoyed the walk among the bees and lavender my friend. Most of our flowers have died off or are dying off now. So the bees are not as plentiful around now. But we love them too. Love watching them work their magic.
I was happy to see more of them this year. Interestingly enough it was not as hot like last summer, so I guess more live plants more bees etc! Always fun to see nature giving us free shows Joe!

When it comes to bees, I appreciate their role in the health and wellness of our planet, but I do want to be a bit of distance from them while they do it. So taking pics up close and personal...um...that's a no. So, I'm glad folks like you are totally comfortable to take these lovely photos.

As we are cooking here in Spain, just seeing those 7 AM from Scotland, combined with your fantastic photos, made me feel the morning breeze from your place!
Love the lavender color, and love the smell even more... It looks like bees love it too... Congrats on such great photos! It's hard to get them in the photo and keep them in focus, but you managed to do it!

Hehe I have been laughing as the news keeps going on about the heat wave in the UK! Well not in fluffing Scotland, has been a pretty crappy summer compared to last year 🤣
But seriously I hope you are okay, one reason we left inland Malaga area was that it was getting too cold in winter and too hot in summer and that was ten years ago and summers have got worse plus the fires of course! I used to snap pics of bees a couple of years ago, I love it and need to get out and do some more while the flowers are still letting them! Thanks Zoltan and have a magical Thursday!
