For this week's #wednesdaywalk, as hosted by @tattoodjay , I trekked back into the local swamplands to check out the sights. The colors, the water, the smells...all that too.
First and foremost, I'm wishing for the best for our host's family and his wife. Secondly, I wish everyone a safe, hopeful, and wonderful Wednesday evening. I know the world can be a lot, but at least a few of us have been fortunate enough to realize the beauty in solitude that is being emersed in nature. I once heard a comment that the Gnostics Pleroma was nothing more than a symbol of nature. Maybe there is some truth in that?
Honestly, I used to listen to podcasts when I went out for a morning stroll or lunch hike. Now, I leave the earbuds at home. I've learned to pay better attention to my surroundings when I'm out and about on a hike. Yeah, a werewolf or dogman might grab me as I walk along, but honestly, it would be worth it. And...it might just get me in a better place should Sasquatch decide to stroll beside me.
Short and sweet. And no Bigfoot. Maybe next time? I'll be sure to get a photo to share should the day come. In the meantime, I can always photograph the random "art" that seems to end up everywhere. In the Pleroma, too...
Thanks for stopping by as always to check out my #wednesdaywalk. I do hope everyone else out there had a wonderful Wednesday too!
