The Exciting Progress in Our Town: Opening of the New Public Market in the Town Center and the Newly Installed Escalator

Our small town really is progressing nicely. It started with the renovation and installation of escalator in the new building in the market. Then the news about Dali and they had their opening real fast, it was built faster too. Then we also heard we'll finally have a Jollibee in our town. We already know the location but the construction's not starting yet. But that's really a good news, but I also heard a few complain, but this is about Dali store.

I had a quick stop in the sidewalk with small vendor selling Balut, fish crackers and few snacks. An old woman saw the Dali eco bag i'm carrying, at first, she asked if Dali's product is really cheap, I said yes and even compared price of one item. She then said, "but how about those small business now." I know what she mean. If Dali has cheaper products, for sure people will choose to buy there, even me will do that especially it is just a walking distance from home.

When I heard what she said, I couldn't answer back but in my head, I thought, it is actually in favor for them especially they can buy items that is more cheaper then sell them. Unlike in some grocery store nearby, the prices of their products is way expensive. Imagine a Jack n Jill Nova, it is only 15.75 in Dali, while in a grocery store, it cost 20 pesos but this is a retail price. But if it's wholesale I think its 18 pesos. So i'd rather really just buy in Dali store.

But anyways, not so sure if Madam already tried buying in Dali, but I hope so, if she did, she can take the chance to explore Dali and maybe try their products and sell them too. They don't have to settle in those grocery stores that sell their products at a higher prices. Like, even the Coop Supermart in Poblacion is much cheaper so why some grocery stores can't do that?

Okay moving on, so last Sunday, not the last, but last last Sunday, the newly renovated building in the town center will finally have their opening. Mayor and the Governor will be present for that day. We saw the preparations for it in our way to market to buy ingredients. Its real busy there

They are building a small stage, to use for the opening later, surely, they'll have a lil speech there,

And I am really happy for this progress in our town, I mean, what actually made me excited is, i'll get to use the escalator and isn't that a nice experience? Hahaha. I can only experience that in a mall and we don't have a mall here. ƪ(‾.‾“)┐

But unfortunately, I couldn't watch the opening then, I got super lazy that day, lol - but, I already see the escalator that was installed there days after the installation. Can't wait for the building to be filled with lots of stores

And obviously, there's two escalator there, going up and going down. I couldn't take a photo of the other side. And yes, all of them are still empty, but people with business can anytime visit to inquire -not sure where -and open their business here.

And actually, I already saw three store then open up, most are clothing store. And there's that Salon tyat didn't really left even during the renovation.
