WednesdayWalk Turns Work

Hello to my wonderful Hiveans. This is my entry for this week's #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay and it is a good thing and a wonderful time so far. So far so good the week has been going on well, I would say that it is so far better than expected. I am always optimistic and always looking forward to Wednesdays to make my post on #wednesdaywalk. And, here it is finally.

This week I intend to do a walk around Ikate part of Lekki Phase one. But unfortunately I was caught up with work and as that is still my primary source of income I tend to do my duty. I later got so tired that I could not do the walk I planned for. What I was caught up doing is divided into two. Firstly, I was engaged in arranging the server room which was looking messy with patch cable scattered everywhere. My believe is that when everywhere is tidied it makes troubleshooting easier at all times. Then, I took plenty of my time arranging it properly and making the place neat and presentable.

The second thing that I did was going to the field to splice some of the broken cores that I observed resulted in an outage at customer's place. We have come to the age where the Internet is a must to have at every home. And no-one wants to stay home without the Internet working. And, not just working but fast as well. To this end almost everyone that I know have started switching to Fiber Optics as the way forward. The splicing was what took plenty of the time that I intended to do thw #wednesdaywalk with.
