Almost Forgotten Path .:. Wednesday Nature Walk

One of the best things about HIVE is the friendships you can make here... If you are open-minded and ready to embrace them on a higher level, some of those friendships continue to grow outside the Internet wires and Wi-Fi! Meetups all around the world, visits to your new friends' countries, and the discovery of things that you would never discover without your new HIVE friend!

Just a few days ago, I was showing around this exact beach to @alessandrawhite, who came to visit us, to practice with @mipiano for the "mini-concert" that will be held at the Hive Open Days, Alicante meetup at the end of April, beginning of May! As girls can't just work 3 days in a row, I had a "duty" to show Alessandra the surroundings where we lived!

I remember very well one of my first family vacations to the mountain Zlatibor, Serbia, where I met a (new) friend whom I had known only from the Internet for a couple of years! In those times, I had a motorsport niche Internet forum, where I met dozens of people who were part of our community... Those were my best vacations ever (until that moment), and I still clearly remember the places we visited and how we spent our time...

Having a local to show you around is priceless! They will show you how people really live in the area, what the most iconic things around are, and help you to skip all those ridiculous money-grab tourist "attractions" with zero value... As I had such a great vacation back in the days, I'm always trying to show my guests as much as possible of the place where I live... To share my knowledge about it (if I have it 😃), and to make their vacation memorable!

Unfortunately, Alessandra had just a few days available this time, so we missed showing her this awesome path where I had my #WednesdayWalk today... She did visit the beach in the first 2 photos, but in the continuation of today's walk, she didn't... I had a few more things on my mind to show her, but we ran out of time... Maybe next time...

A great mimosa tree, or an old water mill that even I didn't know existed!

This winter we had a lot of rain, and because of that, the surroundings got greener than ever! Yes, we did have flowers before, but not this much, all around the path, roads, blooming!

1000023734.jpg

Loquat tree's fruits are getting more and more orange, which means that soon they will be edible... On a joy of one person at my home who likes them a lot... 😃

1000023738.jpg

A lot of time has passed since I went on this path... Maybe in over 2 years, and some new things can be encountered on the way... Like this cat house beside the road...

1000023739.jpg

1000023740.jpg

1000023743.jpg

Currently, oranges are at the moment when they can have fruits AND flowers on their branches! I can't remember any other fruit that does that! And the smell... OMG... I would like to be able to transmit it to you...

1000023745.jpg

1000023747.jpg

1000023749.jpg

On the path, you can find this gorgeous Stone Pine tree, which has been standing at that place for over 200 years!!! The second largest tree in the Valencian region!

1000023750.jpg

And on the opposite side of the pine tree, you can find this carobb tree... Without the plaque, but probably even older than the pine tree!

Orange tree flowers, which will convert into fruits at the end of the year!

I needed this... After so many dry years, we can finally witness fields full of flowers, and a lot of green colors, instead of that burned-out red soil color... Just watching this photo calms the soul down, and imagine what it feels like to walk inside it? Maybe next time I will do that...

1000023775.jpg

Thanks for joining me on this walk in nature... I didn't want to "talk" too much this time, as I wanted to let you enjoy the walk...

Thank you for your time.

Hi @ph1102! What a richly appointed blog post-so many gorgeous photos!! The lemon 🍋 pictures are my favourite.

You, @mipiano and Anna should have a tour company for the scenic walks you offer! I lived my time in Spain with you all and lots of so forward to seeing you again very soon!!

Oh, you and mapanio stays in the same city, wow. One thing I love about music or being a good music player is that you'd have the opportunity to travel around the world, and dear @alessandrawhite is just having her best time. 😍

I can imagine how excited she was seeing all these beautiful places you've shared with us. Now I feel like being there too. 😂

So many stunning photos, you must have spent some hours on the walk. Well it's nice you didn't talk much and allowed us to enjoy the beautiful photo walk with you. 😂
