I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

I've been into diesel/liquidity pools for most of my time on Hive, and it's actually on Hive that I have my first experience with them. When I started with the pools, I had no idea what I was doing, so I was adding anything and everything to a horde of assorted pools. As I observed and paid closer attention over time, however, I realized just how different the various pools are from each other, and after discovering and beginning to use BeeSwap, which provides copious information on liquidity pools, it became clear to me that some pools offer far greater benefits than others. That's the point when I removed liquidity from most of the pools where I had assets, and focused exclusively on pools that offered good LP (Liquidity Pool) rewards. That's how it's been for quite a long time, until now that is, as I find my perspective shifting on why liquidity pools are so useful and important, how they give benefit to liquidity providers, and how I could best make use of them.

The value of a token is in good part determined by how easily it can be exchanged for other assets, and that's what liquidity pools do, and exactly why they are so significant, as they allow token holders to easily swap their tokens for the other token in the liquidity pair. They also help to stabilize the prices of tokens, so they don't bounce around like ping-pong balls all over the place. As such, providing liquidity in diesel pools is an important service that is compensated by paying liquidity providers a pool fee of more of the tokens that they have in the pool. This is true for all liquidity pools of which I'm aware. Here's where various pools differ so greatly from each other, though, because some pools offer daily LP rewards for liquidity provided, while many others do not.

Liquidity pools that pay out daily rewards give two layers of benefits then, the base fee for providing liquidity in the pool, and then on top of that they also offer daily rewards in an assortment of useful and valuable assets. That's why those pools have been my exclusive focus. As I was looking over Tribaldex's interface again yesterday, specifically at the liquidity fees earned for every pool where I presently, or have ever had, liquidity, it dawned on me that several pools from which I removed assets ages ago had actually earned quite a lot of tokens in fees. Some of these removed tokens have been sitting in my wallet doing nothing useful, and providing no benefit, since then. Doh! Why leave them in my wallet, when I can put them back in their respective diesel pools to earn fees?

So that's what I started to do this morning, to go over the unused liquid tokens in my wallet, look at the list of available pools for these presently unutilized tokens, and then to add these wayward tokens to them. This is a good example of leveraging assets for greater growth, that would otherwise have just sat around doing nothing useful.

The daily rewards paid out by several pool could be thought of as cash in hand, that can then be immediately used or exchanged, whereas pools that only provide liquidity fees are more like a savings account, that accrues interest, but where the assets can't be utilized until they are removed/withdrawn. I find this analogy very helpful. So moving forward, any unused liquid tokens in my wallet are all going into the pools (if pools exist for them), resources permitting, since many require SWAP.HIVE. This is another step that I'm taking to adjust, tweak, refine, and make my whole asset-leveraging and income-generating system, my Hive Multi-Stream Passive-Income Machine, more efficient and effective.

Yesterday, Monday, I left the Flow House, after I wrapped up my Hive tasks, quite late again, just before 3PM, putting my focus first on photography for these posts, and straining and blending kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao) in the Landing. Once I had those done, I sifted 3 5-gallon buckets of soil for my nursery, as with all the repotting and up-potting that I've been doing lately, I've been going through it quite quickly. When I finished with the soil, I took a quick asset-management break up at the Flow House, before going to dig three holes with Ano in the cow pasture, for a community tree planting today. After we finished that up, I made my way back to the other side of the property to take a shower, collect my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the Landing fridge, along with some food that Lizzie had left me, and then head back to the Flow House, to get into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I got everything done by just after 11PM, and after some asset management, and responding to notifications on Blurt, I went to bed, a bit too late, a little after 12:30AM. I woke up just a bit after 6AM, still feeling that I needed a hair more sleep, doing more asset management, starting on this post, then getting out of bed to go make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, before returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just after 1:30PM, so a fantastic time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to dive into photography for these posts first, and then community/land work. 2025 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
