I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! πππβ‘π₯π₯β΄οΈβ³οΈβοΈπ£π±β¨π€

I crossed the threshold of 9,300 Hive Power early this morning, right on schedule, and much to my satisfaction, and for a doubly great surprise, I also reached 71.1 Reputation at the same time, so it's been a rather nice Hive morning. With HIVE's fiat price down so much, the APR for HP is pretty high at the moment, so it's growing more quickly, which is excellent for my Hive Goals.
Over the past week I've been considering the best way to generate sufficient SWAP.HIVE liquidity to get ahold of more XV tokens, with the original intention being to buy another handful while the price is so low. This morning, as I was watching the sell orders for XV on the market, with one batch of 50 XV being offered for 2.36 SWAP.HIVE each, for a total of 118 SWAP.HIVE, an idea came to me on how I could create liquidity to buy them.
My largest allocation of assets in a diesel/liquidity pool (and I have many), is in the SWAP.HIVE:PWR pool, where my 519.45588 shares equal 2.076% of the total pool liquidity, with presently 523.42196902 SWAP.HIVE/524.065 PWR. Temporarily removing 118 SWAP.HIVE in liquidity from the pool, which is 22.544% of my total liquidity, would still leave me with 405.422 SWAP.HIVE left in the pool, so this is very doable. The PWR portion of the removed liquidy would mostly just sit in my wallet until after the wrap-up of the XV investment project in just over 7 weeks, when I'd have enough liquidity (plus a whole lot more) to re-add it to the pool. I rather like this idea.
With the present projected profits at the end of the XV wrap-up, these 50 XV, added to the 5 that I already have (and that I won in a contest), would net me somewhere in the range of 467 SWAP.HIVE. So that would be a gain of about 349 SWAP.HIVE, which is quite good indeed. We'll see how the crypto market (since XV is a basket of 15 off-chain crypto assets), and HIVE's price in relation to it, go over the next 7 weeks. Luckily with this investment it would be quite difficult to lose money.
Well, as I was writing this post, doing some calculations, and eyeing those 50 cheap XV on the market, I got the strong inner nudge to do exactly what I just described above, to remove 118 SWAP.HIVE in liquidity from the SWAP.HIVE:PWR pool, and then use it to buy the XV tokens, so it's now completed. This investment is the buy-and-hold sort, so there's nothing else that I need to do. At least I don't have to wait too long, as 7 weeks will go by in a flash. Fingers crossed!
Yesterday, Saturday, after I finished up my Hive tasks, I left the Flow House just after 2PM, focusing first on some photography for these posts. The weather wasn't cooperating again, so I had do it in a few rounds, but in the end, I was successful in getting the shots that I wanted. Once the first round of photography was finished, I helped Ano unload his truck after his Friday cocoing trip, and then to reload it for the Sunday Market in the morning. Once I had that done, I took a quick asset-management break up at the Flow House, before getting my machete to collect a wheelbarrow full of assorted edible foliage for cow-milking food, which ended up not going according to plan. As I was collecting cow food, I inadvertently cut myself across the knuckles of my right hand with my machete. I was surprised and annoyed that I did it, and I actually initially tried to continue, but the cut on my middle finger was deep, and there was a lot of blood, so I stopped and walked to Tutu's. I asked Ano if he could finish getting cow food for me, which he did. Eden, who used to live at GaiaYoga when I first arrived here, and who only recently returned, assisted me. Thankfully I clot very quickly, even with deep cuts, so the bleeding had mostly stopped, but then my body started to go into shock for a bit, with me needing to get low to the ground, because my blood pressure felt low, and I was beginning to feel faint. I was also starting to shake and sweat profusely, and soon after that I started to feel very cold. Eden put on a hot shower for me, at my request, and I summoned the energy to walk behind the building to it. The hot water was exactly what my system needed, and I began to feel balance returning to my body very quickly. While I was in the shower, I washed off the blood in my hand, and I finally got a good look at the cut. The blade had hit me hard in my middle finger, and only just broke the skin in my ring finger. I didn't use any antiseptic or bandages, as I usually heal very quickly anyway, but I did put something on my middle finger to protect it and to keep it rigid. After my machete fiasco, I walked back to the Landing, collected my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the Landing fridge, and I made my way back to the Flow House to dive into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. Thankfully I could still type on my phone pretty well, though my fingers did hurt a fair bit. I got everything done by around 9:30PM, at which point I wrote and published My Entry for Reflection Hunters Contest: Round 213 - Sunny Trail Reflections, did a little more catching up on my notifications and some asset management, and then I went to bed just a little before 11:30PM. I woke up a bit after 7:30AM, having slept well, doing more asset management, beginning on this post, and then getting out of bed to go make my superfood fire coffee, before returning to the Flow House to write this post. My finger is feeling pretty good, though it definitely hurts if I bend or accidentally hit it. It's now just before 2PM, so a marvelous time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House shortly, to first give my attention to more photography for these posts (I got done nice shots in the morning), and then...I don't know, since I can't presently collect cow food. I will probably go do a little work in my nursery, as I could likely do so without it being too difficult with my hand. I also need to to strain and blend kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao). We shall see. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's expression of this post! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! π π π β¨ π€
