I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
The past few days have not been easy, both in my life, with so many of my deepest wounds bubbling up in my face, and trying to do my daily Hive tasks on my phone, with PeakD, Ecency, and Hive Keychain difficulties. Regarding all the difficult stuff which has been jumping up in my face that very much needs healing, I wrote a post about that a few days ago, I Am AliveAndThriving Today! || IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day 1073 - Healing What I Don't Know How to Heal, and yeah, it's been very challenging indeed, with other aspects and parts of it continuing to come into my awareness, which is making remaining functional, so that I can do what I need to do on a Hive, and in this jungle community, quite a chore to say the least.
For the past few weeks or so, uploading images for these daily posts via PeakD on my phone (both the release and the beta version, and via web apps or Hive Keychain), has become extremely hit or miss, with most images taking minutes to upload, and with a huge failure rate, which means that it's taking me so much more time to do, so I have to start much earlier than usual. It sometimes takes me an hour or more to upload the usual 13 photos, if I allow the process to continue without manual intervention. The manual intervention is just to keep refreshing the page and trying again, and again, and again. So it's more than a little frustrating.
The update to the Hive Keychain Android mobile app threw me for a loop yesterday with the UI and functionality changes, but I was mostly able to adapt and make it work for what I needed to do. That was very much not the case this morning, however. Now, for whatever reason, any time I try to do anything in the in-built Keychain browser, any page that I'm on randomly and frequently refreshes, so I can't do much of anything, which is extremely inconveient, because I depend on it for all sorts of tasks. It also freezes and crashes a whole lot now, which was never the case previously. Presently, it's basically useless to me. I adapt, and find a way, but I'm just going to say this irritates the hell out of me.
The release version of Ecency has always been very problematic for me, first with all sorts of bugs, and now with the fact that the notifications take so bloody long to load, that I only use it now when I absolutely need to do so, and only in a very quick and focused manner. Last night I also noticed that all options to reply to comments had completely disappeared. The V3 version always worked far better for me, so I was very sad to see it finally discontinued. I mostly have to use the Ecency mobile Android app to go through my notifications now, and it's great when it works, but it also crashed and freezes a lot as well, so I sometimes just have to abandon it to find another way.
This morning, because of the refresh issue with Hive Keychain, I had to upload my photos on my phone to a folder in my MEGA cloud storage (end-to-end encrypted, and zero-knowledge), which I have on both my phone and my computer, and then upload them via the PeakD website on my laptop, which very thankfully worked, and that's the only reason that I have photos in this post today. Once I uploaded the photos to PeakD, I switched over to a PeakD web app on my phone (I type a lot quicker on my phone than on my computer) to write this post. So yeah, with all these recent updates to Hive apps and frontends, I've found it increasingly difficult to do what I need to every day on Hive, and it takes me a lot longer, and with more improvised steps. That majorly sucks, but so far I've found a way to mostly make things work, exactly because I have redundancy in how I do things.
Yesterday, Wednesday, after finishing up my Hive tasks by around 12:30PM, I prepared for a session that was scheduled for 1:30PM. The session did not go as planned, with the focus for healing being unexpectedly refocused on me and the difficult things that I needed to heal. Thankfully the woman with whom I work regularly was happy to do so, since she is a friend of mine. She offered to work with me over time in my own healing, in addition to the sessions that I give her. After the shifted session, she helped me clean and tidy the Flow House, something that I've been meaning to do for a while now. Once she left, I stopped by the Landing to make myself some food (spiced-and-seasoned mini beef patties, pepperjack cheese, and mixed mustards), and with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hand, I returned to the Flow House to get into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. Because I didn't sleep well the night before, and my emotional release and processing during the session, I was exhausted, and I honestly just wanted to sleep (and hide), but I pushed through and was able to finish everything by a little after 11:30PM, and after some asset management, I went to bed just after 12AM. I woke up around 7:45AM, quite late, having slept well very thankfully, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, then returning to the Flow House to try to upload photos and write this post (that of course did not go as expected). I had to pause that for a time to go attend a Thursday community meeting, from which I had to leave early to return to the Flow House to continue writing this post. It's now just after 12:30PM, so a very good time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House later in the afternoon, to focus first on photography for my posts, and then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's iteration of these posts! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.

Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Every new app gives challenge but with time, you will find a way out, the green leaf look so charming, what is the name of the plant
Indeed, that is true, my friend. I just have issues when apps are changed so much that they impede me in what I do on Hive every day. Are you asking about the cover photo? If so, it's a type of moss, and it's growing on an old coconut. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
Always updates bring their problems, I have been less active for the same reason, I hope everything will return to normal soon.

.For the few minutes I had to check my keychain app I experienced it not knowing it was a general challenge That of Ecency has been a long term one, with notifications taking ages to upload. I just hope it's fixed in no distance time.
So I'm not the only one experiencing these issue. I can't even use the Hive Keychain app at the moment except for quick, focused tasks. I really hope all this nonsense is ironed out too. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
It's not funny at all. I just hope so too.
