I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #1015 - The Investment Itch - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Thursday, May 8, 2025

I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Being the synergistic asset-leverager that I am, it bugs the heck out of me when I have assets just sitting in my wallet doing nothing. As such, I'm not really a HODLer, because I always want to actually use my available assets in the most efficient and effective way, to generate and accelerate as much growth in as many areas, as I possibly can. Sometimes, however, due to certain asset-leveraging and investment decisions, large amounts of very valuable and useful assets need to hang out for a while in my wallet. While this is not ideal, I usually come out notably ahead in the end, so a bit of patience is necessary on my part.

As a case in point, to take advantage of the low price of XV tokens, I removed 118 SWAP.HIVE/118.146 PWR from the SWAP.HIVE:PWR pool several weeks ago, and then used the SWAP.HIVE to buy 55 XV. I did this because the XV token is an investment project that represents a basket of 15 off-chain crypto assets that are strategically traded and grown for a two-year period, the project has been going quite well, and because it's scheduled to wrap up (as of now) in just over a week, with solid projected profits. So very soon I'm likely going to have a sizeable amount of liquidity, and multiple times my original investment, with which to play.

That's excellent, but it doesn't stop the big chunk of PWR sitting in my wallet from bothering me. I've been slowly adding some of it back into the pool, as resources allow, and I've also swapped small amounts of it for SWAP.HIVE when it got low a few times. Since the PWR in my wallet increases quite quickly from the daily liquidity pool rewards, using small amounts of it from time to time for other purposes is not a problem.

My original standing in the SWAP.HIVE:PWR pool, before I removed the chunk of liquidity, was 519.45588 shares and 2.076% of total pool liquidity, or 523.42196902 SWAP.HIVE/524.065 PWR. At the moment my standing is 408.61180 shares and 1.444% of the total pool liquidity, or 432.99063523 SWAP.HIVE/392.234 PWR, with 114.096 liquid PWR in my wallet. Because the liquid PWR is sitting in my wallet, and not in the pool, I'm missing out on the compounding benefits, and as such today I was wondering if I should just swap half of it for SWAP.HIVE, and use that to add the other unswapped portion of PWR back into the pool. Doing this would only get me part of the way back to my original stake in the pool, but with asset compouning and the daily reward payouts, returning to my original standing shouldn't take me too long.

If I did end up choosing to do that, then the profits from the XV wrap-up could be invested in other areas, and I certainly have many other great investments that I could make with it, so yeah, I'm definitely mulling this idea over. I could also just swap the liquid chunk of PWR for SWAP.HIVE to buy more XV tokens, as there are still some at a reasonable good price on the market, so there would probably be some profit. Or I could just do nothing, wait for for XV to come to completion, and use a portion of the profits to add my liquid PWR back into the pool, then use the remainder to invest elsewhere. Decisions, decisions!

Yesterday, Thursday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive tasks, quite late again, just before 3PM, giving my attention to a little photography first. After getting a nice batch of shots, I went to help Ano and Alex in Ano's nursery for a couple hours, up-potting a good number and diversity of various fruit trees, many of them being quite rare. When we had that done for the day, I headed to the other side of the property, to take a shower, make myself some food in the Landing, and then return to the Flow House, to jump gently into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I was still many hours behind from the night before, so I wasn't able to get fully caught up on them yet again. When I get to them tonight I'll be 2 days behind once more. Ugh. I'll just do my best...lol! I finally made myself stop just a bit after 11:30PM, and after some asset management, and some pool analysis, I went to bed just after 12AM. I woke up shortly after 7AM, still feeling that I needed a bit more sleep, doing more asset management, getting out of bed around 7:30AM to go make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, heading back to the Flow House to write and publish My Entry for Reflection Hunters Contest: Round 218 - Turmeric Flower Reflections, and then to begin on this post. It's now just after 1:15PM, so an excellent time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on photography for these posts, and then commmunity/land work. 2025 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
