I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
I've been doing a lot of cross-referencing and analyzing of diesel/liquidity pools as of late, as well as closely studying my experiences with the ones I've tested so far, and from that a handful of pools have moved very strongly onto my radar, and quickly to the top of my list of pools in which I intend to add assets. It's so funny to me how much my perspective has changed about liquidity pools, because not long ago I wouldn't have been interested in some of these pools.
The metrics that I'm using to cross-reference and assess pools are the value of liquidity rewards allocated to each pool (for pools that have LP rewards), the amount of liquidity, the trading volume, and the fees earned, and with this method it quickly becomes clear that certain pools notably stand out as being solid investment choices. For pools that offer the most in daily rewards, SWAP.HIVE:COLONY, SWAP.HIVE:SCRIPT, COLONY:SCRIPT, and PKM:SPS, are the top four pools. Those pools also have quite good liquidity, trading volume, and fees earned, though the top best pools for those three metrics (which are directly related to each other) are DEC:SPS, SWAP.HIVE:SPS, SWAP.HIVE:DEC, and SWAP.HIVE:BTC, with the above-mentioned SWAP.HIVE:COLONY, SWAP.HIVE:SCRIPT, COLONY:SCRIPT, and PKM:SPS also being rather good in these metrics as well.
I've already been growing my liquidity stake in two of these pools, namely SWAP.HIVE:COLONY and PKM:SPS, but so far I have little to no experience with the rest of them yet. That will be changing very quickly, however. It's very interesting to note most of the top best pools are those for game assets from Splinterlands, Genesis League Sports, and Moonkarts. Games are big business it would seem.
Although it's not much, I'll be using my 400+ SPS in Splinterlands that is now in the process of unstaking, and the DEC and SPS from their WOO-paired pools, to get as strong a position as I'm able in the DEC:SPS and PKM:SPS pools first, partly because they don't require SWAP.HIVE, of which I never seem to have enough. Once I have good liquidity in those pools, with solid fees being earned, I'll begin to periodically remove some liquidity to add to the SWAP.HIVE:SPS and SWAP.HIVE:DEC pools, and to re-add assets to the pools with WOO, which are also all great. SWAP.HIVE:BTC and the SCRIPT pools are also on my list, but for a bit later.
One important thing to mention, and that I have to keep in mind myself, is that the higher the total liquidity in a pool, the more liquidity it takes to pass the payment threshold for pool fees. So while the fees may be excellent, unless we get past the payment threshold, we won't be able to benefit from them. That's why it's good to focus on one of two high-liquidity pools at a time. I'll keep sharing what I discover, and my experiences, with the pools, so that you might be able to benefit from it. All I know is that I'm going deep!
Yesterday, Wednesday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive tasks, just before 2:30PM, putting my attention on some photography for these posts. When I was satisfied with the shots that I had gotten, I went to collect and sift 4 5-gallon buckets of soil (so 20 gallons total) for my nursery, after which I spent some time there up-potting a fair number of plants that needed a pot upgrade. Once I finished up with that, I ended up helping Ano to put up mosquito screen in Quarta Quarter for a bit. When I was done with that, I headed to the Landing to heat up a bit of leftover food, and with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hand, I returned to the Flow House to gently dive into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I had a lot, again, so as has become the norm, I was not able to get through them all before I had to stop around 11:45AM, to do some asset management, and finally get to bed, way too late again, about 1AM. I woke up just a little after 7AM, still feeling that I needed more sleep (there certainly seems to be a pattern here), doing more asset management, starting on this post, getting out of bed around 7:30AM to go make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, and then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just after 1:45PM, so a marvelous time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a bit later in the afternoon, to first focus on photography for these posts, and then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until my entry for the Reflection Hunters Contest later this evening (hopefully), and the next iteration of this post tomorrow! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Focusing on a couple of high liquidity pools at a time sounds like a smart approach.
Thanks for sharing your experiences, it's always helpful to learn from someone diving deep into this.
