Occasionally, we will pick a couple of awesome posts that we find interesting and will suggest them for your further reading... We hope that it will help authors as an additional promotion... We support creators with our upvotes in Hive, but also in other tribe tokens! These Hive-Engine tribes give additional value to the whole ecosystem and help authors and curators follow their niches and dreams...

The Netherlands and water: a lifelong struggle and embrace by @friendlymoose

I visited the Netherlands in 2022 when I went to HiveFest in Amsterdam... As I stayed at my friend's home in The Hague, I was traveling by train during those 4-5 days... It was great to see nature from the train window, all those canals and water everywhere... As I had a plane flight from Eindhoven, I was lucky to have an opportunity to see that part of the country too! Definitely planning to repeat my visit and stay a bit more...
Btw. It's interesting that with so much water, the most popular were windmills... Here in Spain, water is a very scarce resource, and in the past, they had many water mills (and not windmills)... which is strange to realize... Not sure about the reasons... Maybe they didn't know the technology... 🤔

Hahahaha... That's funny! 😃 The real question is, how the heck did he get the idea to create it upside down in "those times"? 🤣 But, I have to say, it's a brilliant idea! 😂 I can imagine people waking up, with a hangover, and upside-down views... 😂
I read on Wikipedia that none of the architects lived to see the completion of the building... It's not a surprise as it is huge!

Regarding snow, I don't miss it too much... When we moved to Spain, we said goodbye to the snow... But, I remember when I was a child when it would snow, it wasn't that cold, but when it didn't we would have -15 to -20 Degrees Celsius... ❄️

Postage Stamps: Birds and Life Aquatic by @abrunet

My father was a philatelist, and he had a collection of several thousand stamps. When my sister got married and moved out of our family home, she took the stamps with her (I'm not sure why she thought that she deserved them more than me 😃). Anyway, I doubt I would continue the family tradition. 🙂
Despite not being a philatelist, you have a nice collection of stamps! You should check out some of those that you have as they could be very valuable!
