notable good in the community, and that provide good benefits to their delegators.
That makes sense, I like delegating to @dustsweeper to help power this service which ensures comments still reward. Users bank some HIVE with dustsweeper which is used to administer dusty upvotes on comments that are less than $0.02 (which do not reward) bringing them over $0.02, so they are not lost. These tiny fractions of rewards pay off over time, since starting I've saved over $16 in rewards. Not only does this help people recover their "dust", dustsweeper shares their curation rewards with delegators. It's a WIN-WIN!

That's very cool, Benjamin! Yes, I've had that account and one other similar one upvoting my comments. That is a good suggestion! How much do you delegate for those kind of returns?
One important thing, though, since HF26 all upvotes pay out, not just those of .02 or greater. That's a big reason that I changed how I vote, and now upvote all posts on which I comment at 10%, and all comments and replies at 5%. I was wondering what the dustsweeper accounts were going to so after HF26, but they seem to have just continued on their merry dustsweeping way! π π π β¨ π€
I delegate about 500 HP ($180 USD) to dustsweeper and averages about $1.50/month returns, paying daily in both liquid HIVE and HBD. It's about 10% APR.
Huh! I didn't know that! It's a good change, but it does make dustsweeper sort of pointless. Thankfully it's still functional and rewarding a share of it's curations.

HF26 changed how dust votes are handled, ensuring that all votes, no matter how small, are recorded on the blockchain. However, itβs important to note that the minimum payout threshold of $0.02 still applies. If the total rewards for a post or comment donβt reach this threshold by the payout day, both author and curator rewards will not be issued.

Before the 26th Hive Hard Fork, every vote has a deduction of 50 million "rshares", and that can be called "individual dust vote" that will be dusted (gone). π€ That's different from what can be called "collective dust votes" which when less than $0.02 in total, will be dusted too. π

I noticed that it currently takes the #dustsweeper bot about 12 to 24 hours to add my HIVE top-up to my dust-sweeping balance, such that any dust vote within that period of time while my balance is depleted (less than 0.03 HIVE) would not get swept. ππΈπ€―π
