The "Frozen" Birthday Celebration- IIAC - Day 882

If you have been following along, you might have noticed in the footer that Gurseerat has finally turned eight. Initially, we planned a celebration with just my brother’s family, but she was really hoping to celebrate with her friends too. So, we arranged a small get-together at home.
I was quite surprised by how punctual everyone was, usually parties have a bit of a delay, but the first guest rang the doorbell at 4:00 PM sharp. Within fifteen minutes, the whole group had arrived. My wife served homemade snacks, and then it was time for the moment they were all waiting for - the cake-cutting ceremony. My sister-in-law, who is a fantastic baker, made a beautiful Elsa-themed cake, which was perfect since Gurseerat loves the Frozen movie. Here are a few glimpses of the celebration.

अगर आप हमें फ़ॉलो कर रहे हैं, तो आपने फ़ूटर में देखा होगा कि गुरसीरत आख़िरकार आठ साल की हो गई है। शुरू में, हमने सिर्फ़ अपने भाई के परिवार के साथ जश्न मनाने का प्लान बनाया था, लेकिन वह सच में अपने दोस्तों के साथ भी जश्न मनाना चाहती थी। इसलिए, हमने घर पर एक छोटी सी पार्टी रखी।
मैं यह देखकर काफ़ी हैरान था कि हर कोई कितना समय का पाबंद था; आम तौर पर पार्टियों में थोड़ी देर हो जाती है, लेकिन पहला मेहमान ठीक शाम 4:00 बजे दरवाज़े की घंटी बजाते हुए आ गया। पंद्रह मिनट के अंदर ही, पूरा ग्रुप आ गया था। मेरी पत्नी ने घर पर बने स्नैक्स परोसे, और फिर वह पल आ गया जिसका वे सब इंतज़ार कर रहे थे - केक काटने की रस्म। मेरी भाभी, जो एक बेहतरीन बेकर हैं, ने एल्सा-थीम वाला एक बहुत ही सुंदर केक बनाया, जो एकदम सही था क्योंकि गुरसीरत को 'फ़्रोज़न' फ़िल्म बहुत पसंद है। यहाँ उस जश्न की कुछ झलकियाँ दी गई हैं।
