The last two days have been wonderful for Gurseerat. We had a friend visit with his family, which was exactly what she needed. She had been feeling a little down after my brother and his family left to go back abroad, as she had formed such a close bond with her cousins. Having my friend’s sons around completely cheered her up.
One evening, we all went out to see a fountain and laser show. Even though we were running a bit late, we luckily arrived just before it ended. Afterward, we headed to the market, where Gurseerat spotted a "Frozen" themed drink. Like most kids, she was immediately drawn to the fancy packaging. I tried to warn her that she probably wouldnot like the taste and that it wasnot the best choice, but she was insistent. I finally gave in, and just as I expected, after two or three sips, she came back to me complaining that it tasted terrible. It was a perfect "lesson learned" moment.

पिछले दो दिन गुरसीरत के लिए बहुत शानदार रहे। हमारे एक दोस्त अपने परिवार के साथ हमसे मिलने आए, जिसकी उसे वाकई ज़रूरत थी। मेरे भाई और उनके परिवार के वापस विदेश चले जाने के बाद वह थोड़ी उदास महसूस कर रही थी, क्योंकि अपने कज़िन बहनों के साथ उसका बहुत गहरा लगाव हो गया था। मेरे दोस्त के बेटों का साथ पाकर वह पूरी तरह से चहक उठी।
