A new school session means a fresh start with new books, stationery, uniforms, and, of course, new shoes. Yesterday, we headed to the market to find a pair for Gurseerat. Since she is growing so fast, her old ones had become quite tight. The school does not have strict rules other than the color must be black, so we had plenty of freedom with the design.
We initially went to one shop, but it was unfortunately closed. Gurseerat immediately suggested another store, the very one where she had previously spotted a design she loved. Luckily, they were still open and had exactly what she wanted. The main attraction is a "rotating mechanism" for tightening and loosening the laces, she is absolutely fascinated by it. The design is so nice that I think she will end up wearing them even when she is not in school.
