Firstly, just in case you get some very weird notifications from me, I DID NOT mute you. OMG. There must have been a gremlin somewhere! I am so glad I was busy doing my busy bees curation post, otherwise, who knows how long it would have taken me to pick it up!!!

Right, moving on from there, gosh, thank you so much for the absolute breath of fresh air your posts always bring. I am not surprised at all that you make use of open source software and an open source operating system like Lynx. My brother is a coder and has been using it since, well, forever. Of course, there are some compatibility issues that force us all to use Apple or Windows, but its operation is still far superior.

I am not sure how long your kitties have been deceased, but I think it's absolutely beautiful that you visit them and adorn their resting places. Cats have a very special place in my heart, and I know the pain of their loss, all too well.

Hehe...no worries, Claire, Ecency does some funny things sometimes, so I very much understand. I'm glad that you caught it!

I'm always happy that you appreciate my posts, my friend, and indeedy, open-source software, and Linux and the BSDs, are where it's at for sure, and I've been diving deep, exploring, experimenting, and learning in these incredible frameworks for many years now, as I could never image ever going back to Windows, or switching to MacOs, as they are just far too controlled and limited. It's interesting, compatibility is becoming less and less of a thing. I never have the need to use Windows for anything, for which I'm super grateful.

They were two kitties, Neptune and Zabuza, who lived here for years, and they both passed away last year. I have sweet relationships with several of the cats here, so their loss is definitely strongly felt. Thank you so much for your lovely comment and kind words, Claire, they're deeply appreciated. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

That's wonderful to hear. I honestly haven't touched Lynx since the late 90's/ early 2000s. It's awesome to see hw far open source software has come!

Kities are so very precious. Independent souls but when you need them, omehow they are always there! ❤️
