New Year Thoughts / Neujahrs Gedanken

Hello guys!

Like every year, I reflect on the past year and what the future holds. I'm sure I'm not alone in that. But it feels worse this year, even though I personally had some luck with a job change last year. There are other things that are worrying, though. It's not that I didn't know it was coming, but when it actually happens, I'm left wondering where the world is headed. Many things that used to allow me to sleep more soundly have now been changed by crypto laws. Privacy is just a word now, meaningless. Freedom of speech is being trampled on, and you can potentially end up in jail for mentioning a politician. A major upheaval is taking place worldwide. You can see it everywhere, and the older generation and governments refuse to let go.

Hallo Leute!

Wie jedes Jahr macht man sich Gedanken über das letzte Jahr und was die Zukunft bringt. Da stehe ich sicher nicht alleine da. Aber gefühlt ist es dieses Jahr schlimmer wenn auch ich selber im letzten Jahr etwas Glück durch den Job Wechsel hatte. Doch gibt es andere Dinge die Besorgnis erregend sind. Nicht das man es nicht gewusst hätte, aber als es dann passiert wundert man sich nur wo diese Welt hingerät. Viele Dinge die mich vorher etwas ruhiger schlafen lassen haben, wurden jetzt durch Crypto Gesetze geändert. Privatsphäre ist nur noch ein Wort und gilt nichts mehr. Meinungsfreiheit wird mit Füßen getreten und man kommt unter Umständen ins Gefängnis wenn man einen Politiker erwähnt. Weltweit findet ein großer Umbruch statt. Man kann es überall schon sehen und die alte Generation und Regierungen wollen nicht los lassen.

Ich hoffe auf eine bessere Zukunft und Frieden für uns alle. Stay #aliveandthriving!
