Best advice: Go there, be forced to speak the language in order to obtain food and such :-D
We easily learn 3-4 languages in school in Belgium. My family lived in Germany for a long time, and my parents lived in Switzerland for a few years. All that helped ;-)

Looks like "going there" (to another place where people speak a different language) will definitely incur transportation fees (either by land, sea, or air) and possibly passport and visa fees. π€―π€―
Maybe it would !INSTEAD be easier and cheaper to just find some friends who speak at least one language the learner doesn't know, then start from there. π€π€π
