My ultimate purpose in life: Growing up I could remember my purpose on the face of the earth and dimmed it to be the perfect thing that I wanted and the images of how my life would turn out. And my purpose then was: have a good life, well I'm gonna describe the kind of life I'm talking about, the life is to graduate with a good grade "which I did" then serve my nation "check" then get a good paying job "partially checked" with a good working environment and surround myself with amazing people "checked".
So getting all those things mentioned above made me feel proud like I'm living my dream and purpose in life "feeling fulfilled" So whenever I'm asked a question like this, I will be like "I'm living my purpose already" Now imagine this question was asked a year ago, I would gladly show off like I'm living the purpose already because what is life without having all the things I have now " meaningless". You might be wondering about the miracle that happened that made me develop a different mindset regarding my purpose in life.
A year ago I was on a public transit vehicle "Those from my part of the world will relate better" so I was heading to the office that faithful day and the vehicle I boarded had a preacher who was sharing the word, I wasn't paying attention that much till he mentioned something and I quote "what is your purpose on earth" and I was like I'm living my purpose already (I didn't say it out loud though) and he went further into saying "everyone was created for a purpose" and you have to find that purpose and live it. Unfortunately, I didn't get to hear the whole sermon that day because the vehicle had already gotten to my bus stop.
I got home that day and couldn't wrap my head around those words the preacher said, so I decided to sleep it off, I woke up the next day asking myself some questions and those questions were "What is the purpose of my life and what am I going to do in the future" does the life I'm living currently entails everything I want? Now did I get an answer to those questions? Well, the only thing that came to my mind was "to leave a long-lasting positive impact on Earth".
Every great person is known for a thing or two; they might be gone, but they aren't forgettable for their kind gesture performed on the face of the earth. People tend to remember those who left a mark in their lives in different ways, "positive or negative." what is life when you are all by yourself? What is life without touching those in need? What is life without putting an amazing smile on people's faces? I don't want to live a fulfilled life without someone coming to me and saying, "You touched my life." My life became a meaningful the moment I had an encounter with you. "Now that's the most incredible goal in life".
Currently, I have taken enough time to reflect on my life and have finally concluded on the purpose of my life "My overall purpose in life is to share every moment with friends and family though they are far from me as long as I have blood running through my veins nothing is impossible, I'm gonna make every moment count, I'm gonna create amazing memories that when I'm alone I would feel fulfilled reminiscing back on those moments because they say memories stays with us forever.
I'm gonna extend that to those outside of my family lineage; I'm gonna help in attending to others' needs in every way I can without putting pressure on myself.
Lastly purpose goes beyond our material objectives but then financial stability plays a vital role in all these as well.

Living your life with the community that you are within is indeed a purpose, including the family and people that you love! Thanks for sharing that!
