Violence: A solution or Problem?

Hello Everyone, Namaste ☺️🙏. How are you doing?

Violence has always been a part of human life. From wars and fights to small arguments that turn aggressive, it's everywhere. Some people think it's just human nature, while others believe the world would be better off without it. But is a world without violence even possible? And if so, how can we get there? Let’s take a look at both sides and what we can actually do about it.

Thinking about a world without violence sounds like a dream, isn't it?. No wars, no crime, no fights. But if we really think about it, would that even work? Human beings have emotions like anger, fear, and jealousy. Sometimes, these feelings lead to fights or worse. If violence never existed, would people still respect laws? Would there be any way to stop someone from doing something wrong if there were no real consequences?

Even though in history, violence played a role. Early humans had to fight for survival. If we think without violence, the world could be full of injustice because nobody would fear punishment. On the other hand, some people say that we rely too much on violence and should try harder to solve problems without it.

Violence has shaped history in many ways. Wars have created new nations, rebellions have overthrown rulers, and even simple fights have changed laws. But at what cost? Millions of people have died, families have been destroyed, and innocent lives have suffered.

It is frequently said violence is necessary sometimes. Without it, powerful people might take advantage of the weak. History shows us that some major changes only happened because people fought for their rights. But is it really the only way? Violence may bring short-term results, but often, it creates more problems than it solves.

Completely removing violence might not be possible, but we can definitely reduce it. Teaching kids how to handle anger, solve problems, and respect others can make a huge difference. Schools should teach emotional intelligence, not just maths and science. When kids learn to handle conflicts in a healthy way, they are less likely to turn to violence when they grow up.

A lot of violence happens because people feel frustrated over poverty, unfairness, or lack of opportunities. When people have access to jobs, education, and basic needs, they’re less likely to turn to crime or violence. Economic stress can push people into desperate situations, so addressing financial gaps can reduce violence significantly.

we also need fair laws and equal justice. If people don’t trust the law, they take matters into their own hands. Making sure justice is fair and not just for the rich or powerful can stop a lot of violence before it even starts. Corrupt systems create resentment and chaos, which leads to more crime and aggression.

Movies, games, and social media all play a part in how people think. If violence is always shown as the solution, people start believing it. Promoting peaceful solutions in entertainment can help change this mindset. People, especially young ones, look up to characters they see on screen. If they see more positive problem-solving, they might imitate that instead.

Violence is a big problem, but it’s not impossible to reduce. Also it cannot be avoided all time for sure. While we might never get rid of it completely, we can work towards a world where violence isn’t the first solution to problems. By focusing on education, fairness, and better opportunities for everyone, we can make the world a safer and better place. The future doesn’t have to be perfect, but it can definitely be better than our past.

Thank you so much for reading. Have a great day @vikbuddy
