The Holiday Will End, But the Memories Will Remain

Holiday is one of the most anticipated periods in a year and that's because of how both adult, children, workers and non workers look forward to it as an opportunity to take a break, celebrate, meet their loved ones or have a get together with during the festive season. As a teacher I also usually look forward to holidays and any opportunity to take a break of work and that's not because I don't love my job, but because I know my body needs a break and a time to rest, alongside time to spend with my loved ones or use to do things I love that are outside work. So with this coming holiday, I'm excited and have made plans towards it, and below I'd be talking about those plans and related stuffs.

Around the second quarter of the year was when I made up my mind on how I'm going to spend this coming holiday in the month of December and that's because I believe it's the right thing to do. I'm sure you'll be wondering what my plan is that I've made since around that time of the year. Well it's the fact I want to travel to visit my parents and as well spend the holidays and majority of the festive season with them. There are lost of reasons why I made this particular plan and chose the coming holiday to embark on that journey and I'll be sharing those reasons as you read along.

The very first reason is because it's been ages since I last travelled home and I felt, I should just cease this opportunity to do that, because if I don't, then I'll just keep procrastinating and postponing it like I've been doing in the past. Secondly is that I see the journey home during this holiday as an opportunity to get together with my family and loved once, it's been ages since we all are together under the same roof, since we the children started growing and began to work, so this holiday would be an avenue to gather the big family together ones again, to bond, reminisce on things and place for the future.

Lastly on my reason for picking this holiday season to embark on this journey is because I see it as an opportunity for my daughter to go pay a visit for her grandparents, who are my own parents. So the journey is quite significant for lots of reasons and that's why I'm committed to it this time and since we the children have all agreed to meet-up, I won't want to be the reason that didn't go as planned. So with all this said, I believe you've come to understand my plans for the coming holiday and the reasons behind it.

So with the plans set, will I be able to enjoy it as I wanted? Well I really can't say and that's because of the situation of things and the economy that's making it seem like the cost of living wants to kill we the living. I'm hoping for the best, while still being aware of the situation of things and the need to be cautious with how I spend and do things for the future sake, because holiday will obviously come and goes, but we ourselves will remain and the steps and actions will take during the holiday will determine the situation we'll be in when the holiday is over. So overall we need to be smart in all we do, while still trying to make the most of the holiday season.
