We all know inventors and developers have made a positive impact on the world, and their inventions have saved a lot of lives, brought about innovation that makes things fast and easy, and not forgotten how some sustain life, improve our well-being, and the likes, to name but a few. However, despite how amazing inventions of inventors are, we can't forget the fact that many of these inventions they made have been abused, to the point where it's having a negative toll on other aspects of life. In the advent of that, who should be blamed for the downside of these inventions, the inventor or those who abused them?

In my opinion, inventors have done a lot of good for us in this world, and we must be grateful for all they've done, the impact they've had, and much more, to name but a few. So would it then be great if we blamed an inventor who created something useful and important to us for the fact that others abused their creation? If I'm to be honest, it doesn't make sense for us to blame the inventor for someone else's misbehavior. Take for instance Inventors made medicine like codeine, and yet people on the street abused it and used it as a means to get high, not caring about how it affected their health and the effect of them getting wounded on others in society.
The truth is that we must understand that almost every single invention has its downside and side effects regardless of how useful it is to us. Take, for example, the telephone or computer that plays a lot of vital roles in helping us communicate, connect with different people, and much more. We all know people abused it by using it for cyberbullying, fraud, cyberstalking, and other things. Would it be nice if we blamed those who invented the phone for others who abused it? In my opinion, I think it's not right; everyone should face the consequences of their actions. We all know those who did what's wrong with the invention know they are doing something bad.
After all, we all know that the majority of these inventors usually write down the side effects of their inventions, especially when they know the side effects or dangers, and that's a great step towards washing them away from any blame that might show up in the future. For example, all medicine manufacturers always advised patients not to use medicine without a doctor's prescription, and soda companies also advised consumers to dispose of plastic responsibly, so I won't advise for us to blame the manufacturer or inventor, but instead those who abused it. After all, what they invented was because of research on ways to help humanity, and not to ruin it.

Only a few inventors can be blamed, and those ones too can defend themselves. I was thinking about the inventors of guns, deadly weapons, and nuclear weapons. We can actually blame those types of inventors, but at the end, gun inventors can defend themselves. They probably made it so we can use them to kill wild animals who tend to attack us in the wild and had no intention of making it so we can use them to kill ourselves or wage war against one another. But overall, I'll still stand with the fact that the users who abused an invention are the ones who should take the blame and not the inventors.
