Through the years we've all seen the beauty evolution technology has brought to our world, the ease it gave, and the tasks it helped complete in no time. These have made many call technology a blessing that keeps giving through the years. However, despite all the marvelous impact of technology, it's surprising to see some have the belief that the ease that comes with technology can be detrimental to humanity and brings about a sliding down in our creativity as humans. But is that really the case? Below I'll share my take on these and topics revolving around them.

To be honest, I understand where most of these people who have concerns about the dent technology might bring to our creativity is coming from. Given the fact that many today would rather go for the ease that comes with technology tools such as artificial intelligence, which can help them perform tasks in no time, rather than sitting down to thoroughly embark on the project themselves and brood over their creativity while attempting the task. I remember just yesterday, the HOD of the ushering department in my church asked me to help create a schedule for ushers that'll officiate during the midweek service; however, unlike how I used to design the schedule by myself in the past, I opted to ask AI to help me go about it, and it helps me save time and utilize the duration I would have spent doing that to invest in something else.
Do I believe the constant usage can make my level of creativity decline? I think not, because already I'm an expert in the field of designing, and so even if I want to give the artificial intelligence a prompt, I'll be given it in a way that'll make it create a masterpiece that'll stand out compared to when someone else who isn't knowledgeable does the same. But then for me to remain great, I must be ready to at least once in awhile still do things on my own. And not be overall dependent on AI. We must understand the fact that artificial intelligence isn't a curse in disguise; it was created by humans, showing our vast level of creativity, and I'm certain things more mind-blowing than it would be will be created in the near future.

In order to not shoot ourselves in the leg in our bid to save cost or in our clamor for ease, we mustn't solely depend on AI or other technology tools to help us perform our tasks. You wonder why many youth are being plagued with arthritis, an illness that's known to have plagued the elderly people in the past. It's as a result of the ease that comes with technology that many would take cars, bikes, and the like to a short destination because of the ease that comes from it, thereby limiting the exercise their body and joints need to keep them in good health and shape. Just like the common saying, too much of anything is bad, and that's why we must find a way to strike a balance between doing things ourselves sometimes and enjoying the ease that comes with technology atimes too.
