I guess we are doing good...

We all have dreams on how we want our future to be, but sometimes after countless efforts most people seem to disregard that dream of how they predict their future to be. Especially in our country Nigeria where many youths goes to school with the hope to pursue their dream jobs, works, professions and careers but most of them got their dreams of predicting their futures shattered due to lack of work. the rate of unemployment in the country is becoming too alarming.

They are most people who predicted their future to be lawyers, doctors, pilots, engineers, nurses e.t.c
But due to one thing or the other that stop them from becoming what they want.

HOW I PREDICT MY FUTURE TO BE

I have made up my mind to fight against all odds in order to achieve my future, circumstances will not stop me I'm going to work hard to achieve it. one of the things I love so much is Becoming a chef I love cooking at a very little age of 3years my mom do buy for us clay pot to cook with it...when I was 7years I started practicing how to cook with empty tin tomato container anytime my mom finish cooking I beg her for some ingredients and prepare my own dish, the joy is just out of this world though most at times not as good as my mom's cooking, but my friends and I will eat it with joy. So just like me I will tutor my children how to prepare amazing meals both male and female at a very young age, they will grow up becoming a good wife and husband to their spouses. Most men think cooking is merely for women No though most women do it.

I wanted studying it as a course in school (catering) but unfortunately I was denied of it because I'm an Art student they said it was only for science students. I felt bad so I choose another course.
Fortunately for us before you graduate you will undergo any skills acquisitions in school in order to help the students to start up something for themselves after schooling(is more of learning a hand work).

The skills acquisitions that was available then was: shoe making, hair stylist, barbing, tailoring (stitches), soap making, satellite installation, electrical, catering and carpentry work. In each of this skills a tutor is assigned to teach and guide the students base on their preferred skills. The tutors indeed are professionals they are so good at it, in making sure the students knows how to do it on their own. provisions were made for all the necessary equipments and materials for the skills the teacher not only tutor in theories but they practicalize it for us, on how to learn and also practice on how to do it ourselves.
The skills acquisitions was just 3 months, to me I didn't mind because I finally have the opportunity to at least study and practice what I have been yearning for (catering), wow I must confess the training was amazing our mentor was a man. Among all the dishes that was taught and practice... The one that really got me was (special chips) it is unique and delicious the way the food was arrange is top notch so attracting.

I want to under go technical trainings on catering and services, learn more on both local and continental dishes.
I yearn to have my own eatery with branches all over the world both in Africa and international I also want to train others, I love to travel around the world learn, see and explore more on cooking and dishes.

I see my future as a successful blessed woman especially in my career as a good Chef. Apart from cooking eating healthy is one of the goals too.
