You see some people think that social media monetization is the worst thing that has happened to social media, while other persons believe that it is a blessing, well, I think it has it two sides ,but let me focus on the good side.

So on one hand, monetization has led to so many fake news, controversial posts, and clickbait content and this can be really frustrating for the users.

And on the other hand, this same monetization has given many people a way to earn a living online, Content creators can now make money from their posts and videos and others .Like, there are so many examples of regular people who started with just a camera and now have built entire careers and businesses from their social media presence.

So for me, social media monetization is actually a good thing,So Many people have found a way to earn really a living online and this has so much opened up new opportunities for many, Especially for those who live in places with less job opportunities or for people who cannot work traditional jobs due to various personal circumstances like health issues or family responsibilities, etc.

Monetization has also encouraged so many people to produce better content , With the main potential to earn much money,these creators are more likely to invest their time and effort and many other things worth investing in,They might buy better equipment, take courses to improve their skills, or even hire teams to help them create more professional content that people really enjoy watching.

However, there are many challenges, so the fake news and clickbait content can also be overwhelming, Some people may feel that the quality of content has so much decreased.

So to address these challenges, I believe that social media platforms needs to find a good balance between allowing user and creators to earn money and also ensuring that users see high quality content.

So to conclude this, I do believe that social media monetization has both it's good and bad effects, and while it has led to fake news everywhere, it has also given many people a way to earn a living online / virtually.
