Humans Vs AI : Faster Doesn't Mean Smarter.

People always ask if Artificial Intelligence is actually smarter than we humans or if it is just faster, so this is what I think , we do get these two things mixed up a lot, because yes Artificial Intelligence can do some amazing things in seconds, it can solve problems, write essays, analyze data, but that does not automatically mean it is smarter in the way humans are, Artificial Intelligence is definitely faster, It can process amounts of information in seconds things that would take a person many hours, days or even years to do, So when we see it giving answers almost instantly it feels like intelligence on another level.. Speed is not the same thing as understanding.

The way I see it , artificial Intelligence is like a super powerful tool, It is trained on tons of existing information so it can recognize patterns and give responses based on what it has learned, it does not actually know things the way people do, It does not have life experiences, emotions or even human understanding, It has not lived life, It has not struggled, failed, grown or made decisions based on feelings or instincts.

People on the hand are messy but deep, We do not just process information, we interpret it, we attach meaning to the things, we create ideas that have never existed before not remix of what is already out there, we can feel love, fear, doubt, curiosity, and those emotions shape how we think and act, that is something Artificial Intelligence just does not have.

Also people can think in ways that are not always logical and weirdly that is actually a strength, some of the ideas and inventions came from people thinking outside the box , taking risks or even making mistakes, Artificial Intelligence usually works within patterns it already knows, People can break those patterns completely.

Another thing is judgment, Artificial Intelligence can give you answers,it does not truly understand consequences in a human way, it does not have values, morals or a sense of responsibility, humans do, we can look at a situation, decide what should be done not just what can be done.

So when people say Artificial Intelligence is smarter, seriously I do not fully agree with that, I will say that Artificial Intelligence is more efficient at tasks, especially ones that involve data, memory or repetition.. Intelligence is not just about getting the right answer quickly, it is about creativity, emotional awareness, decision making and understanding the world in a way.

That is where humans are still very unique....

Even if in some cases a person might eventually arrive at the answer as Artificial Intelligence but slower, I mean people learn, grow and evolve through that process, Artificial Intelligence just delivers the result.

So, I do not think it is a competition, Artificial Intelligence is not here to replace Human intelligence, It actually works best with it, think of it like this, Artificial Intelligence can handle the lifting, Fast calculations, data analysis, while people bring meaning, creativity and direction.

So no Artificial Intelligence is not "better”, than humans, it is just different.

We humans have something Artificial Intelligence does not have and never will have and that is real life experience, emotions and that unpredictable spark that makes us us.. Honestly that uniqueness, that is not something you can program.
