I know we are still in the energy of celebration 🎉 friends even though many have gone back to work waiting to take some days off again for the New Year holiday celebration 🍾🎉.

Work is the most important thing in every individual’s life , and wether we are working for ourselves or working for someone, we must take work as priority. And this why many have ended their holidays to go back to work, and others back in business while counting down the month of December into the new year of 2025.

My work schedule is one that I love and enjoy so much as a realtor who manages building and help clients out for apartment purposes, and work had given me lots of opportunity to enjoy myself during the holidays due to how it involves time and season. Its a job that allows you sometimes to schedule appointments on how it favors you but sometimes might be the other way round, especially when clients tends to be serious on settling and paying for what ever apartment they love ❤️

Honestly speaking I can tell you am still enjoying the holidays and will continue to do so into the new year as we are counting down December with few days to go. I walked all through the month of December until almost 20th because the month of December is one of those months many people usually want to move into new apartments to celebrate 🎉 with family and friends, so the season makes the work more tedious and challenging. And because its a time of season for clients to be satisfied, Realtors put lots of efforts during this time to do their best, knowing that the new year will be time to rest before work picks up again.

January of the new year is always anticipated as a slow and dull month, making businesses poor in finances. And this why most people who are self employed takes out their time to stay off businesses, enjoying themselves. And this is why I will also be enjoying the holiday into the month of January to allow things pick up. My holiday therefore might be ending into mid - January when most people who travelled for the festive season will begin to arrive back as things starts picking up.

However, many who works with other companies and not self employed or freelancers might be forced to go back to work because that is how the rule works. This prompt made me remember my days of 9:00 to 5:00 . When the Christmas 🎄 holidays given to workers are just 25th and 26th December, then 1st of new year and everyone goes back to work. I was forced to start taking my annual leave in Decembers which allows me to stay off work till mid of January, enjoying the holidays to the fullest.
