We have always believed that change is the only thing constant, and this change is also applicable to humans. So we can say practically that change is inevitable. And change can happen and occur in a human being in many ways. It could be environmental, influence from close friends or change from growth as time passes by, bringing new understanding.

Should People Face Consequences Despite Charge?

As humans we are bound to make mistakes in one way or the other which literally will affect us either immediately or in the future. But one thing with making mistakes are what are the intentions or motives behind the mistakes . And again, growth us what mostly brings change in humans, because as time passes, humans begin to learn new things, see things differently, have more understanding and can take a new turn in life .

So therefore, Mr A might have been a criminal while growing up as a youth, maybe due to environment and influence from peers and records has that. But as a full grown man now, who has learned through the walls of the university has changed for a better lifestyle and not stealing again because of change in character and new perception to life. This person should be given a second chance after being monitored for sometimes and proved totally 💯 change. Although his past record as a criminal might still lingers, but he truly needs another chance if he truly believe in himself and not hiding.

Change is constant we know, but many are also living under pretense, deceiving those around them which is why these set of persons needs to bear the consequences of their past deeds. Example of these set of people are those in the politics. Most of these set of parents pretend to change once they want to go into politics. They try to wipe off their old records to stay clean for people to vote for them. Many of these people has involved in many dirty happenings in the past, but now they comes out as changed. I don’t think someone like this can be trusted. And that is why we are suffering after some group of people cover up for them. Their intention is clearly not for good, so they should bear consequences of their past behaviors.

We should be able to know those who has purely changed when we see them, their intention, believe and motives should be able to speak for them when they are crossed checked despite what the social media or past records says. Change does not suddenly happen. It takes time with effort and consistency. So it all depends on how we want to see the person . If there is visibly a good amount of change that does not have ulterior motive, I think 💭 the person needs a second chance.
