Inspiring Others With Genuineness

We have always believed as humans that life is give and take , but this saying sometimes does not just happen because it has been said and believed in. Gifting and inspiring others is a thing if the heart ♥️, which usually comes with genuine desire to give, inspire and help others.

I will want to share one situation here that will never be off my mind, maybe until I die. I once had an accommodation problem in Lagos while still a spinster. Not that I don’t have a house I ranted and paid rent, but Lagos State being what it is up until now is a city 🌆 where anything can happen. In fact, every day is a new day with new unexpected happenings

The problem I encountered was because, the Landlady of my house 🏡 then has a sister who suddenly want them to sell the house because she want her own share of the house . There parents left the house for them before their death. So what they do is collect rent and share.

And before we the tenants new what was going on, we had from the landlady that the house has been sold. Oh my God! Everyone was in disarray. Okey then we said, believing and hoped that the new buyers will come to see us, maybe to give us time to move and also help us with some cash assistance. But the new buyer never came to us till after three (3) months. And when this man came, he told us that in the next two weeks, he will be coming to bulldoze the compound. Just like that?

I did not know where to start because going to rent a new apartment will involve not just new rent but including commission and agreement money which usually is multiplied in percentage 💯. But because in my church congregation we have what is called “Church In The House”. Its a kind of weekend house fellowship where members comes together within the area you are living. You don’t need to enter any transportation because it is planed in such a way that an area might have up to three (3) church members who are host and hostess and each with a “Church In The House Pastor”

With this situation, I quickly called my Church In The House Pastor who works with MTN then. He picked my call and said I should call him back in 20 minutes because he was in a meeting, And after the said 20 minutes, I called him and narrated the whole story to him. Seeing my fear through the call, he asked me to forward my account number to him. And I could not believe myself after a few hours later when I received an alert. I could not believe that God does miracle in His own way. The money my pastor sent to me practically paid for a new apartment that I never have to touch the little I have saved up.

My Pastor’s wife later called me after few days, asking if I have gotten a place so I can move immediately. That was truly a great inspiration I got from those who cares about others. And not just because we fellowship together, but for how promptly my request was met. And afterwards, how they made sure to follow up on my moving and safety.

This however taught me to see life as one that is simple. The need to help others if we are in the position is the greatest empathy. And I tell you that helping others brings joy 🤩 and peace of heart because when we see others smiling genuinely at us , maybe after we have encouraged, inspire or help them, it gives us feelings of wanting to help the more.

I was able to also help a friend of mine few months ago through her accommodation problem. She had the same issue I had many years ago. They suddenly sold where she is staying. The landlady of the apartment died and the children could not even give their mother time. They quickly sold the house and ask all the tenants not to renew their rents. What they fail to understand is that when one leaves an old apartment , he or she will compulsorily pay commission and agreement again because you are a new tenant where ever you are moving to.

And apart from this very friend, I have always keep inspiring people in any little way I could because its part of life if we must live a happy life. Although, we must not ignore not to stay away when we don’t have. Meaning we must inspire others genuinely and be happy about it.
